We were commissioned, by the client, to design a wraparound extension, boosting the footprint of the existing cottage. The brief was to create a large open plan living space to the rear of the property that opens up onto the large rear garden and takes advantage of the rear view onto open countryside. The clients also wanted an integral garage, utility space and additional bedroom accommodation including a large master bedroom suite. This was achieved by adding a double storey side extension housing the garage and utility space at ground floor with the additional bedrooms above. A single storey rear extension was added to create the open plan living area. The rear extension includes bi-fold doors that allow access and views out to the rear garden and beyond.
